Price Beat seems to be some kind of ****

Extremely Disappointed with Game’s Price Beat Handling

I am extremely disappointed with the experience I’ve had with Game regarding their Price Beat policy. What should have been a simple and straightforward process turned into weeks of unnecessary delays, unanswered emails, and complete silence from the company.

I submitted a valid Price Beat request on **29 October**, with all the required proof. The competitor had stock at the time I sent my request, and the offer was visible and legitimate. However, Game delayed the validation process, and only checked the price later — long after the item was out of stock — and then used that delay as the reason to reject my request.

What made the experience worse was the **lack of communication**. My emails were ignored for long periods, and even after my case was forwarded to the complaints department and management, I still received **no written response** or meaningful feedback. The process felt completely one-sided, leaving me to chase updates that never came.

Eventually, when a response arrived, it dismissed my request based on circumstances created entirely by Game’s own delays. It is extremely frustrating and gives the impression that the Price Beat policy is not honoured fairly, but used more as a marketing tool than a real customer benefit.

I hope Game seriously reviews its communication standards, complaint handling, and the transparency of its Price Beat process. No customer should have to go through such an exhausting and disappointing experience just to be denied for reasons outside their control.

Hi Neo, I'm sorry for the feedback you received regarding your price beat request and that it wasn't addressed immediately when you forwarded the details. Your query is still ongoing and with the complaints agent who is doing her best to get this resolved.
