Poor Service by Game Stores

On the 10th of March I bought a Ryobi line trimmer from game in the Lephalale Mall. I explained to the sales person that I was not from there and cannot come back to the specific store if there is any problem. He assured me that if I have a problem with the product that I could return it to any game Store and it would be replaced within 7 days thereafter it would be repaired if it falls within the warranty period of the manufacturer. I used the trimmer on Saturday the 14th of March 2020 when I noticed that the rotation head was busy coming off. I stopped using it. On Monday the 16th of March 2020 my wife took the machine to game in River Square Vereeniging with the original packaging and till slip where she was told by Walter Lekgoe that it must be sent for repairs. This is unacceptable as I used it once and it already had a problem. I took it back within the 7 days replacement window but it was refused. When a product is bought from Game the customer will not know if there is a problem with the product unless they use it. It appear that the customer is then in the wrong for using it and it is then a problem to the customer and not the store. A complained was lodged with the customer Service with Ref number 409 581. Awaiting outcome. I refuse to get a product repaired while there was a problem with it after the first use and it was returned in the 7 day replacement policy. The product need to be replaced with the same product or monies need to be paid back. Is this how Game expect customers to return to buy from them again if the customer is the one in the wrong for using it and have to be inconvenient by a faulty product they bought from Game? If this is not resolved accordingly game Stores could expect to loose a customer. Lets see if they care at all for customers or are they only in it for the money making.
