Poor service

Game failing to deliver an online order.

On March 28, 2020 I purchased a laptop that goes with a printer. By this time this item was a non-essential item as per the lockdown regulations. The promise (as per the message that appears on their website) was that the delivery will be made between 3-5 days after the lockdown.

The lockdown rules were eased and as of the 1st of May 2020. To my surprise when I opened their website I found out that the delivery dates were now between 5-7 days. On 11 May 2020 I contacted Game via their live chat. The agent I was in conversation with is Sasanga and she promised to escalate my query to the delivery department.

After 24 hours of our conversation no one bothered to provide me with a feedback. I then initiated another live chat with Game. Luckily the agent I was assigned to was Sasanga again. I told her that I was still waiting for a feedback of the conversation we had the previous day. I told her how dissapointing the situation is since they have now now changed the delivery dates again from 3-5 days to 7-10 days.

Sasanga told me that they are having few staff at the moment since the lockdownnis not fully lifted. I find this disturbing because when it comes to taking orders they are still taking them even now fully knowing that they are failing to deal with the ones they are currently having.
