Poor customer service - no care, not their problem

I went to Game Boksburg on the 11th of December as our TV broke that was still under warranty. The warranty stipulates that it takes 21 days to be repaired or you will be refunded or exchanged. My husband asked the lady that assisted us behind the customer care counter twice if it will be 21 days as per the warranty terms and she indicated yes, twice.

This morning my husband went to them, day 24 that they had the TV, no call, no sms, no nothing just to let us know where they are at with the TV and they have the audacity to tell my husband that sorry but we dont have the TV, our suppliers open the 9th. SOMEBODY was supposed to tell us that, well somebody never did.

After again asking, okay, how long will the 21 days then be, so when does it now start in your eyes, they just say that they dont know, they will have to find out when their suppliers open on the 9th.

I would really appreciate for GAME to explain to me, how does you warranty now actually work? Is it 21 days from when you take the appliance in or is it 21 days from when you decide when the 21 days will start? Secondly, I would also like to know, why your staff at Boksburg just pull up their shoulders and say sorry, without actually trying to assist and find out what they can do and just playing the blame game by stating that the person who helped us then should have told us? Well, nobody told us anything and it is not going to fix the situation we are in now.

So we are still sitting without any answers because all we get is shoulders that gets pulled up and an answer that they have to wait for their suppliers to tell us when the 21 days will start. How nice of you.

Dear Game,
Thank you so much for your response that you have acknowledged my complaint and is sorry for the inconvenience caused, however, I do not think that you are really sorry about it though because it does not seem like you take complaints on Hello Peter seriously, if I look at all the bad reviews you guys are getting on this site.
I was told Senior Management would contact me, which however, somebody contacted me yesterday afternoon, after another day that passed without me having an answer. Johan wanted to know exactly what was wrong with the TV because whoever sent it in did not do the paperwork properly. After telling Johan what happened, he just said, thank you, I will get back to you (by the way he spoke to me, he made me understand that I would have had an answer yesterday). I did however appreciate that somebody at least phoned me, although it was a shortlived call and no conclusive answer.
I tried phoning Johan a few times this morning from the number he contacted me from and could not get gold of him, so now, this forces me to once again refer my frustration to Hello Peter. I need an answer as to when I can expect my TV back as it seems that Customer Service is not a priority to Companies anymore.
It also seems like you are trying to wait it out until the 9th of January "when your suppliers open" (which is also a story apparently according to Johan) to be able to give me an answer?
Please GAME, I always supported you and bought almost all of my appliances at Game and this is a total put off.
