Poor Customer Experience
Good day, I'd like to share the poor customer experience I had at Game Gateway over the weekend(22Aug2021).This was primarily due to two individuals, Pathmani from customer service and Thami from the Sports section. Pathmani needs training in customer service as her approach to dealing with people is misguided. I needed to exchange an item that was on sale and before making any attempt to assist, she gives me the bad news that returns on sale items is against policy (even if the item has a defect). While waiting for supervisor clearance, I had time to see her give the same experience to another customer that was returning recalled Koo canned foods. Some of the cans were dented and her first reaction to the customer was that "Game does not sell dented cans". This was recalled cans from the supplier that she was referring to. My second poor experience was from Thami from the Sports department, who was just plain rude. There were no prices on any of the shelves in the Sports department (check it!) and I just wanted to find out about the cased Dartboard for my son's 10th birthday. I called on him twice, he just looked on and walked away, without any response. Only when another Game employee called on him, he indicates to her that he's helping someone else in the furniture department and then walked away. This happened around 11:30am on Sunday, please feel free to check the video footage. With the shortage of jobs due to the lockdown and revenue losses during the recent looting of Game stores, your employees should appreciate the jobs they have and make a concerted effort to excel at it. I bought my son's gift from Mr Price Sport on the day and Game lost revenue due to Thami .How many Thami's are causing Game to lose revenue everyday?
