philips head phones

Hi, i bought wireless head phones from this store in november last year and after a while they started making a tikking sound. I took them back in hope to atleast swop them out for anouther pair. They refused to swop them just stated that its policy that they go in for repairs and that i would have to wait up to 21 working days. Yet they cound not show me anywhwere where it stated that it is only a repair warenty. The managaer herself was extremely rude and tried to tell me that all stores have this policy yet not once have i ever had this problem with any store before.
