Pathetic Service/Assistance
Yesterday, 30.08.2022, I went to Game Store in the Cresta Mall to purchase a plunger. Seeing that I was not sure where I could find the plungers, I asked an employee walking down an aisle where I could find a plunger. The employee then simply shouted another employee's name and when the other employee responded I was told that Game did not have in stock and that they do not stock it anymore. At least the security gent was kind enough to refer me to Builders Warehouse which was right at the opposite side of the mall.
Today. 31.08.2022, I returned to Game to purchase my dad a chainsaw for his birthday. To my surprise, what did I spot - a section full of plungers. I was in complete disbelieve, seeing that I was bluntly **** to the previous day. In fact, if the lady I initially asked for assistance had any pride in her work she would have 1. Looked for the aisle of concern, 2. Had a look herself to see if there were plungers in store. I don't want to even comment on the other lazy employee who fed her with the incorrect information, also being to lazy to have a look.
At least I got a plunger at Builders Warehouse for R80.00. The plunger is priced at Game for R54.99. So thanks to TWO *********** lazy employees, I was left R26 out of pocket, and then having to waist at least 20 minutes of my time having to walk allllllllllllll the way to Builder Warehouse to get a plunger.
Come on guys, this is simply not on. There are so many dedicated employees who are trying to make things work in order to retain customers. I was so upset that I did not even purchase the chainsaw.
Disappointing indeed.
