PATHETIC SERVICE GAME LADYSMITH
On Sunday 27th May 2018, I purchased a 55” Samsung UHD Television from Game Ladysmith KZN, brought it home set it up, but it failed to come on. I took it back to Game the same day and upon inspection found that the screen was cracked internally. The manager rudely informed me that there was nothing he could do, as the TV was checked in the store and it worked, it’s Game policy. I tried to bring the following points to the manager’s attention which he refused to listen to: 1. Game, we as your customer don’t know your policies. Last time I bought a TV no one checked it. I just had to produce my TV licence. There is no formal notification informing customers of your policy when purchasing a television and your sales lady Alice never informed us about your policy. 2. Your sales lady didn’t check the TV for damages, all she did was take the TV out of the box switch it on and that too with the protective cover still half on, when the Samsung logo came on, she pulled the plug without properly powering the TV off and continued to re-pack the TV. 3. Your sales lady took the 55” i.e. 139.7cm TV out of the box and put it back all by herself with no assistance. When we told the manager that we needed 3 people to take this TV out, he simply said that the sales lady is trained to do this – firstly I’d like to see her training certificate and secondly there are clear instruction on the Samsung box indicating that 2 (TWO) people need to handle this TV. Also the Security lady tussled with the TV to see if no ****** goods were inside. 4. What happen to Game’s 21 day policy or the warranty on the TV. I must say your Customer Care excel at “dragging their feet”. I received a call from Ladysmith Customer Care on Monday 28Th May 2018 and the guy said he’ll call back. To date (i.e. 04/06/2018), I’m still waiting for that call. Game Ladysmith, you took Customer Service to the next level!!!! I am now in a situation with a broken Samsung TV and no one can assist me.
