Pathetic Service

We purchased a Hisense washing machine in November 2019 from Game Shelly Beach on a Game account. During the course of 2020 we moved homes and misplaced the receipt. On the 09th December 2020 the washing machine broke. We contacted Game Shelly Beach and were advised that we cannot be assisted without a receipt. We emailed them a statement of account that reflected the purchase but that was not sufficient. Game advised us that it would take six weeks for them to locate the receipt. After two weeks we made contact with Game for an update as we had no feedback from them. On the 23rd December the manager from Game Shelly Beach called my husband to say that it isn't their fault that we lost the receipt and that we need to wait six weeks for them to locate the receipt. After the six weeks had passed we had still not heard from Game and when we made contact in the seventh week, they advised that they are still looking for the receipt. The receipt was eventually located in week eight. They have promised to send us a copy as we purchased a TV and microwave on the same day but to date no copy has been sent to us. We have to keep calling Game for feedback as they have no customer service skills and do not know how to pick up the phone and provide feedback. Game has advised us that Hisense will not accept a copy of a receipt for them to have our washing machine repaired or replaced. I dont believe this to be true as original receipts fade over time and keeping an electronic copy is the only way to ensure all the details are visible on the receipt. To date we have not had a solution to our problem, yet we faithfully pay our Game account monthly for a washing machine that has not been working for three full months. There is no disclaimer on the receipt that states that we may not use a copy for any claim against the five year warranty that is offered with the Hisense product. Game does not have a complaints helpline who can assist. Their service is pathetic and the staff are extremely unhelpful.
