Pathetic Experience for a 1st time Buyer!

<p>This is the first time I have ever purchased a big appliance at Game on the 5th August. The sales process was great instore no complaints. </p> <p> </p> <p>I was advised that delivery will happen the following day, on the 6th just after 4pm the guys came and delivered my new fridge. After they have left I noticed that the fridge was damaged on the side and contacted the driver again, an hour or two later they arrived checked the fridge and took it away. Great service from those guys.</p> <p> </p> <p>At 10.40 this morning I received a call from someone at the warehouse and she informed me that the driver will come and deliver this afternoon. I decided not to go far from the area I live as I wouldnt want the guys to wait for me when they arrive.</p> <p> </p> <p>The entire afternoon went by and I havent heard anything. I called the number of the warehouse and spoke to a lady who said she will find out who I spoke to and called me back, this was at 4.18pm, I waited but no one returned my call so I called back at 4.50pm, all the lady could tell me was that the driver has the fridge and he will deliver. After I have already been told that it will be delivered this afternoon, after explaining to the lady it doesnt help me knowing that the driver has the fridge as I have been told that on the first call I received the morning.</p> <p> </p> <p>Eventually she gave me the contact number of the driver. When calling the driver he advised that he is doing deliveries and that he will deliver today he is working his way from the athlone area, this was about 5pm. </p> <p> </p> <p>I have not heard anything since then, I contacted the driver again about 7pm was infromed he is still on his way.</p> <p> </p> <p>Eventually I received my fridge at about 8.15pm!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>I am a new home owner and require to furnish my entire home but I wont easily purchase from a Game store again.</p>
