Paid for but never delivered

I made an online purchase on 22 November of R7,496. I received message 24/11 that my order was dispatched. After waiting over 4 days to receive my order and countless calls to Game Customer care to establish tracking information I was finally advised that my delivery had been subcontracted to Time Freight. After being promised delivery day after day we threatened to cancel the order and finally were advised that the delivery would be made 29/11. We advised both Game and the courier company that we were only at the delivery location for the next day so it was imperative the delivery be made otherwise we would have no choice but to cancel the order. When the delivery arrived we only received 1 item from the entire order and was missing all the other items. Again I called Game and they could not advise where the remainder of my order is or when it will be delivered or how many items will be delivered. I spent my hard earned money on items that I will never know will be delivered or if I will ever get my money back. They indicated 3-5 working days when I made my purchase and it’s well past that and from tomorrow I will not be able to take delivery since I am traveling. Shame on you Game - quick to make a sale and take our hard earned money but you never know if you will ever receive the goods you pay for :-(
