Out of stock of 1 day promotional item

I received the weekly Game newsletter yesterday afternoon (25 feb @ 3.42pm). I saw a great deal for a Stramm 12volt drill, Item no:574350 for R200. Needless to say I was at the store (Game , cape town grand central) at 9am when they opened to ensure I was first to buy this item. After looking around in Tool dept I could find anything. I asked a salesperson for assistance and the guy tried looking for item and still nothing. He was not even aware of the deal. I had show him on my phone. Anyway, he was helpful and tried checking with the stock room. He then found out that there was only one in stock - but nowhere to be seen. How can Game stores make big promotions for 1 day only but have no stock? This is terribly disappointing and needless to say a major inconvenience as I had take some time off at work to try a buy the drill. Left my details at customer service (which by the way was empty). Very poor service and terrible customer experience that makes me never wanting to buy at Game again.
