Online purchase cancelled without my consent

I purchased the JVC portable radio online as a gift for somebody during the sale recently. It was 2 weeks and then suddenly I received an email stating that my order is cancelled. I called the call centre and i was cut off. I emailed and I was ignored. I called again on Thursday last week and was helped by Rowen reference 599834. He said that they will be refunding me. I stated that I don't want the refund because I didn't cancel the order and the person whom I purchased it for was awaiting a gift from me! So he said he Will speak to his manager and get back to me that day. But to date, he hasn't. I was refunded the money but that's not what I want! I want the radio! Service is so poor and this is embarrassing for me as the person I purchased it for is expecting a gift to be delivered from game.
