Online order delivery times not adhered to

I placed an online order on the Game website for a dishwashing machine on 14 April 2022. The system gave me an expected delivery date of 21 April in Port Elizabeth, which I accepted. Today is 26 April and I still haven't received my delivery, nor have I received any information from Game regarding the delay. On enquiry the Web Support Team mentioned that they went onto a new system and is still sorting out gremlins. Game, don't make promises to customers regarding delivery dates if you cannot keep it. If you run into an unexpected problem, keep the customer in the loop!

My advice to prospective buyers is to rather order appliances from Takealot. The exact same item would have arrived in PE in 2-5 days from Takealot and I would have been spared the frustration of handwashing dishes for a week at least.
