Not happy with the service we got from Game Store

We bought a 55inch Telefunken TV in 2020. The TV we bought is no longer working and we are now told that the warranty is 1 year, which we were never told when buying the TV. We asked the guy who was helping us at The Cresta store (he was not very helpful, he treated us like we were just wasting his time) to show us where it's written that the warranty is 1 year and we were told that it's not written anywhere it's just word of mouth and we are expected to accept that. We were told that we will be charged for them to repair it which is very unfair as we were not told that the TV has a 1 year warranty and it's not written anywhere.
