Not built to last

I am very disgusted with the quality of a sleeper couch I purchased approximately 4 months ago.

In August of this year my boyfriend and I moved into a bachelor flat due to the fact that he is unemployed and struggling to find work. Due to the limited space, I decided to purchase a sleeper couch to serve as the main seating area as well as place to sleep for the occasional guest. I made a point to look for a weight limit as I knew this product would be in daily use and neither my boyfriend or I am of slight built. As previously stated, it has now been 4 months since the purchase and the couch is already broken (sat through).

I am very upset due to the fact that we are already financially in a pickle and I definitely do not have the finances to purchase new furniture every 4 months. I expected the product to last at least a year or two and was hoping to either be able to sell it or give to a family member when we are able to move to a bigger apartment. Now I am left with a couch that I will not be able to sell and I am ashamed to have family and friends sit on it when they visit.
