Not able to pick up items bought on account

So I bought a scale either April or May this year. To my horror it doesn't work anymore. So according to SA law I can get a refund however in this time I moved and the slip was misplaced. But hey no worry, I have an account and bought it on Account. I mean if woolies and edgars can do it I'm sure Game can do it! My account is PROOF i bought it! Surely they have record!

Not a chance. They want the exact date and store it was bought from. Then I get told to request a statement from RCS, which I did. No freaking reply! So I phoned and sorry they can't see what I bought. Now freaking what???????????? What a waste of my time!

So now Game is not willing to get off their lazy asses and check the system to see what I bought in those months, WHICH IS NOT THAT DAMNED DIFFICULT TO DO! But you would swear you're asking for their first born!

Now I'm sitting with a scale that doesn't work and I am busy with a programme and need to weigh myself! So they are inconveniencing me to the point that I want to take that scale and throw it through the damned glass doors at the store!!!
