Non Delivery & Rude Contractor

I went to a Game at Mall of the South and I bought goods totalling R13500. The goods were supposed to be delivered Wednesday afternoon which was an arrangement made with the contractor, but he never pitched. The contractor then calls at night to tell us that he is wasting petrol coming to our residence, yet he never came as we were home at the time and waited for the delivery. While addressing this he then drops the phone while we were in mid conversation and calls again and to top it all off, was rude and arrogant and decided to keep the goods. He never called again since Wednesday night. Thursday and Friday we still didn't hear anything from the contractor. Saturday morning he sends his delivery personnel to call us out of the blue to tell us they are on the way, bearing in mind no prior arrangements were made for delivery on Saturday. We tell the delivery guys to tell their employer to contact us personally as we were in contact with him and will not let the fact that he was rude slide. We wanted him to call and apologise. There after was silence, we didn't hear from Mr Pillay the contractor from Game, Mall of the South nor his delivery guys. Today, I call Game to ask about my delivery and spoke to the Store Manager, Nicholson. He could not assist me with anything, instead told me that Sunday rates are different to during the week and the contractor is sick and cannot make the delivery. I then expressed to Nicholson that I can't go to work while all my goods that are essential for me to prepare for work are with his contractor. He then advised that he would call me back and that was at 15:22. I still await his call for an arrangement.

For spending so much money at this store, this is the kind of service it get? I mean really, is this how you treat your customers.

I think I should start shopping elsewhere, where I will be appreciated.
