No service and total *******

Upon purchasing the genesis steam extreme while still in the mall the box was open so while in a restaurant I had a looked and found that the iron was not the same model as the box, I had taken it straight away to game and at customer service when the verimark consultant came he , mentioned that it can't be cause that iron was discontinued long time ago. I am the customer who paid the full price for an iron which should be the exact as advertised now how is this my fault so I paid R700 for an ancient item worth nothing. Is this customer service
