NEVER FALL FOR GAME PROMOTIONS - THEY ARE ****S

Game stores were running a Birthday promotion. I bought items on 30.05.2024 at Game Carnival Mall. When I asked how the promotion work, I was told to scan the QR code and follow instructions on my phone. While in store I scanned the QR code on the slip, which prompted me to upload my slip, once uploaded it asked for my personal details which I filled in and was then presented with a scratch card on screen, I scratched the card and there was a rotating golden coin on the screen with congratulations you have won, but nothing else. I asked the staff member what the coin meant as there was no further instructions on the screen. The staff did not know and actually phoned "head-office" while I was waiting, then I was told they also dont know what the coin means, and that I have to wait for my sms or email and once received to follow instructions. NO SMS, NO EMAIL, I send an email to customer care, the next morning 31.05.2024. They only rep**** on 01.06.2024 to please send them a copy of the slip again in order to check. Which I did straight away. Then they rep**** "Thank you for your swift response. Sincerest apologies for the inconvenience. Kindly be advised that the competition has ended yesterday hence why you could not enter. Should you require any further assistance, do not hesitate to contact us." MY GOODNESS, I entered the competition a day before it ended??????? no they tell me I did not win anything and was not entered. BIG **** and VERY UNHAPPY. Game will not be seeing me again. And even if I entered on the 31.05.2024, which I did not, the 31.05.2024 was still included as per their advertising.
