misrepresantation

i am very furious with the service i have received from game rustenburg Mall on the 31/10/2022 i went to the store looking for a blender and a gentleman on that department advised me to take the Logik blender as it is the only one that has a guarantee on the glass jug 1 year guarantee and not the motor and i proceeded to purchase the blender now the glass blender is broken and sent my husband to request to use my gurantee and he was supposedly dismissed harshly by the customer service person and now am being told actually my guarantee is on the motor and not on the glass i was mislead by their employee and purchased the blender with a wrong impression how am i as a customer suppose to be held liable yet the employee that assisted me mislead me into purchasing the blender? what game Rustenburg mall is going is against the customer protection Act and intend on taking this matter further as it is unacceptable and unprofessional for such a big shop to take disadvantage of shoppers i will fight this till the end as this was not my fault
