Misleading advertising - disappointed customer

I saw an advertisment on the Game stores home page for a Lenovo i3 laptop. upon my request for stock at the Pavillion branch i was informed that this was not the correct price in their store.

The sales person was kind enough to check with regional office and stated that the offer was only applicable to the boksburg branch as an opening promotion.

On the advertisment itself it doesnt state any of this. I checked the advert many times and there is no mention of " only applicable at Boksburg Game' .

I have called customer care and asked for the regional managers number however the number does not go through when i am transfered.

This is very poor advertising and service. Game as a big corporate should be in line with the rules and regulations of the comsumer protection act. It states in the act that the product labbeling or trade descriptions mut not mislead the consumer.

I have also checked the site again and the price has been corrected as well as the word promotion is removed off the item. If this was not a mistake to begin with why correct the system?

The advert also states that delivery can be arranged to a preffered store for apid orders. when i asked about this option the sales person told me that no it cannot and i would have to find someone near the boksburg store.

I as the consumer is entitled to the price that I saw the product advertsied at. I await your rseponse.
