Misleading Adverti*****t about Wi-Fi Router and Cell C Contract!

<p>I`m referring to a deal Game offerred in the Western Cape from 4-15 May 2016 on a ZTE MF65 3G Wi-Fi Router with a Cell C contract. The deal included the router with 20GB per month for R119 per month. On 6/5 I contacted several Game Stores in the vicinity and they all indicated they do not have the router in stock. They could not tell me when they will get the router. On 9/5 a lady at Game at Parow Centre indicated that Cell C apologized per letter for not been able to provide the router. She indicated that the store only had 3 routers in stock. Part of the deal was that the first 300 customers would get 6 months free subscription on Show Max. It seems like Game never had 300 routers in stock!</p> <p>I contacted the Head Office of Game and spoke to Ashveer Rampad. He made an effort trying to get a router on my behalf by phoning the shops in the Western Cape. He was not able to trace any routers. this was on 11/5. He offerred me another modum with the same contract and I indicated it is not the same router, but I would think about it. At least he was proffessional in the way he conducted himself. On 12/5 I went to Game N1 City and spoke to the manager Gary Love. He referred me to Jasmin, the manager at the cellphone section, who put my name on a waiting list and she indicated that they would be getting the router and that she would phone me. She did not phone me, so I called her on a regular basis and on 25/5 she indicated that she has a router available and I can get it with the contract. My son went to the store on 27/5 and they took his documentation, but indicated that they had a problem with the system and would call him. On 28/5 I called and they indicated that there is still a problem with the system and they would call as soon as it`s cleared. Which they never did! On 1/6 my son phoned them to fetch the router and they indicated that the deal has been discontinued and they cannot help me. Now I have to bear the costs of all the calls and petrol to there shops, because of there misleading adverti*****t. I strongly feel that between Game and Cell C they should provide me with this deal! In terms of the CPA the dealers cannot place misleading adverti*****ts and just simply discontinue the deal. This is pathetic and one big shame! I tried several times to call Rina Taute on ***, but the line stayed engaged! </p>
