Math Mistake

I was reading the Benoni City times this morning flipping through the game pages.

I stumbled across a advert for the Cody Corner couch, interested in buying it, and the math for the amount repayble was incorrect.

So I phoned head office and after being transferred to 5 different people I end up with the last lady. I TRY and explain to her my delema (I mean I want to buy the couch but the sums dont match so I want to be sure that I pay the advertised ammount and not the correctly worked out ammount, which is a thousand rand more)

This lady keeps cutting me off mid sentence and tells me to go the shop and have the ccountant explain to me how it works. Excuse me, you couldnt even get the simple math of 92 x 36 correct.

And if you a high up at head office cant help me understand how it works then what are you doing there? And to take such a condicending tone with me, without properly hearing me out? No thank you Lady.

So for the heck of it I worked the prices of the Aspen Sleeper couch out too. No Surprise, incorrect. I had three people (including a proper accountant) do the math aswell and they all agree the advertised ammount is wrong.

So Game, I hope the 5th grader you've hired to do the sums is worth it, because I will be showing this paper to everyone hoping they demand the lesser incorect price, which by the way is 2000 rand cheaper than the upfront cash price.
