Long expired food products on shelves. Customer falls sick. No assistance.

I am even angry that I have to give a star to an undeserving that must be zero rated. A store that put my life at risk today. I am sick as I am writing this in sickness due to an expired food product that I bought at Game Clearwater Mall.

After having eaten a packet of chips that k bought from Game-I realised that it had expired three months ago! which was in 2020. Moments later I fell sick with stomach cramps and I vomited. I then was accompanied by a colleague whom I was sitting with at that time to go to Game.

When we got there we got unsatisfactory assistance. The store manager was present in store but did not even bother to physically avail himself to witness nor attend to my reaction to their expired good that they sold me. A rude and seemingly careless supervisor came to find out what had happened to me. He then asks me what should they do! As a reputable store to begin with are not supposed to merchandise expired foods! That moment I am nauseous and my colleague is telling them where to get off.

From thereon this supervisor guy goes to the back to ask the store manager what has to be done and he comes back to say to me that I must take myself to a doctor since I'm saying I am sick and bring them the proof that I went and they will reimburse me for the costs. I then tell him that I don't have money and I wasn't planning on getting sick from their product. His responses showed no emphathy. He then went back and forth to the store manager while I sat and endured being starred at by other customers and staff while almost vomiting and weeping from this store's humiliation. I went further to explain to him that I fell sick on duty which means that I cannot carry on with my work for the rest of the day and my other plans are inconvenienced by their negligence. I told him that my lift club picks me up around 5pm and at that time it was around 3pm. He then asked me how much will I need for the transport, then I told. He marched to the back to the unbotherd store manager and came back with a response that there nothing they can do rather than to reimburse me my money that I would have spent on getting medication. He also added that he and the manager have read the legal book about what he is saying to me. I just decided to go back to my place of work as sick as I was being starred at by people. I do not wish anyone else this brut service I got from Game Clearwater today. I have decided that I never sety foot nor buy their products from their store.
