Little One Vito Stroller & Poor Customer Service.
On 2 August 2025, we purchased a Little One Vito Stroller from your Game store at The Bridge, Port Elizabeth. Unfortunately, within less than a month of use, the stroller’s wheels began malfunctioning and no longer turn as they should.
On 30 August 2025, we returned to the same store to lay a complaint. The customer service experience we received was extremely disappointing. A staff member, who was very ill-mannered, eventually called (what we presume was) the departmental head or store manager, as no introduction was given, Ms. Coltman. Rather than assisting, Ms. Coltman informed us that the factory fault guarantee was only valid for 7–14 days. This was never explained to us at the point of purchase. She further stated that they “do not recommend the brand” and therefore could not assist us any further.
As loyal customers of Game, we found this response unacceptable and lacking in both professionalism and compassion. A stroller is a high-use item purchased with the expectation of durability and support should defects arise. For a product to become faulty within its first month of use indicates a manufacturing defect, which should reasonably fall under warranty or consumer protection rights.
