KIC Fridge making disruptive sounds

I purchased a KIC Fridge at GAME store, Polokwane a few months ago. I reported to the store that the fridge is making strange and very disruptive sounds.

The store proceeded to arrange a technician to come to my home and attend to the matter. Upon arrival of the technician, I explained to him what the sounds are like and he also heard them for himself,

The technician went on to explain that there is nothing wrong with the fridge and there is nothing he can do about the sounds as the sounds are the "normal" sound of the engine/gas of the fridge.

I asked him why the store and or KIC does not out a disclaimer on the product so that I, as a consumer can decide if I want a noisey appliance or not. He could not give me an answer.

I called GAME store and spoke to someone who said that they cannot do anything else as the store because the fault is with the maunfacturer, and not GAME.

I am now left with a frideg which sometimes sound a cat being strangled to death, and at other times it sounds like an aeroplane taking off.

The sounds are extremely disruptive and have affected my sleep and the use of the appliance. I sometimes have to switch the fridge off in order for me to get a peaceful sleep. Now you can imagine the aftermath of that when I wake up to a defrosted fridge every other day.

Kindly assist in resolving this matter. I would like a replaced KIC Fridge or a different model all together if the model I have sounds like this "Normally" as the technician put it
