JVC Products

I bought a JVC TV from Game in Bela Bela. I was watching it one day when the screen just went dead. Took the tv in at TV and Video Doctor (huge mistake) who took 4 weeks to tell me that JVC do not have parts for the tv anymore. Now my question is why is Game still selling appliances from JVC when they know that getting parts to repair those appliances is "uneconomical". Why do you even have a 12 months warranty on those TV's?
