Interest and other costs not reversed

This follows after you successfully helped me to ensure that the supplier honoured their warranty. After they repaired the item it was returned to me incomplete - i.e. some items were missing from the box. Game's decision was to exchange the item. They did not have the same item in stock, we selected one that was R200.00 more expensive.<br> <br> They credited my account with the returned item (R799.00) and processed a new sale for the new full amount of R999.00. My problem is that I will now proceed to pay another 2 year's worth of interest and and other costs, whereas my initial contract had already had interest, etc which I paid since October 2013 every month. My request that I be credited the interest as well, seeing I would be paying new interest on the new contract was refused.<br> <br> Secondly, what about the cost of installing the item? I have now paid R200.00 twice to fit the item into my vehicle, which should have only happened once. <br> <br> By offering to exchange the item they acknowledged that it was faulty / had a problem, so that purchase contract should have been cancelled, including all interest and other costs.<br> <br> Your opinion?
