Incorrect Amount Refunded

Last year sometime in November during the extended Black Friday season, My dad paid for a washing machine which was on special at the time at Game store in Mthatha Plaza, and on the On the 23rd December 2020 He was supposed to be refunded a sum of R4000 in respect of Gift card because the washing machine was out of stock, but He was physically given Gift card with the value R2000 instead of R4000. He discovered the discrepancy on the 16th January 2021, when he went to do shopping at Game Vincent in East London. He has since emailed Game Customer services and RCS but they have been giving him the runarounds. At this point we would like to receive the full amount in cash and not in a form of a Gift Card.
