Impossible to be a client of Game ever again

I closed my Game card and paid it up - or so I thought - Ref: Game Store Card ********** ********** 72152 - got a clearance figure from 1 of the call centre staff on 25 Aug only to be told, sorry, there's another R3,000.00 owing. Paid that. Only to be told, sorry, there's interest outstanding. Paid that. Now what!!! Zero on my card. Close my account already and send me a settlement letter. Game advises (their call centre staff anyway) that their system does not permit them to send out closure letters before the 10th of any month. Okay, does that sound like a load of nonsense to anyone else too??? I am amazed by how easy it is to get credit - but once a debtor pays up - it's like getting blood from a stone to receive a settlement letter. I have been put off Game for life.
