Idiotic supervisor And violation of consumer rights

Gazebo in July of this year for R1499.98 used it for the first time on Friday night only to see that the one leg is buckled so my husband straightened it using a plier as my guest were arriving , took it back to the store and the Manager says that it has to be booked in for repairs , that’s their policy. When I asked what the guarantee was, I was told by the manager Solomon that it comes with a one year warranty and that it has to be booked in for repairs but that it would only go in , in January as the company has closed for the year. When I asked for a refund of my money, he said he cannot do that as it was over 21?days, and that is not their policy, it has to be booked in then when the manufacturer agrees can they give me a refund. When I informed him that I was going to report him and Game to the consumer council then he very quickly gave me a refund but the point is if a customer does not know their rights they can be taken for a ride
