I was sold a discontinued Lenovo laptop which is falling apart after 3 months

I am utterly disgusted by the lack of service from both Lenovo and Game Store (where the laptop was purchased).

The matter was handed over to Incredible Solutions (by Game Store) and I have been dealing with Muhammed. He can be contacted on ********** .

I have been given the run around for almost two weeks now. I provided all the requested information to Muhammed, as well as screenshots and pictures of the laptop itself.

I was then told last week that the parts would be ordered and Muhammed would come and fix the laptop this week. Then there were further delays as certain parts were not available and had to be ordered. I was told on Tuesday this week that the parts would be received by Thursday (yesterday) and that he would come and do the repair today (Friday). I then heard nothing until I contacted Muhammed earlier today. The latest excuse is that the supplier is refusing to release the parts because "too many were ordered". That is the most pathetic excuse I have ever heard. If too many parts are required, then someone needs to look at why I was sold a machine that developed this many issues within THREE months! I have heard nothing at all from Game Store since they handed it over to Incredible Solutions. They have not checked in with me, requested feedback or followed up on the repair of the laptop at all.

I am about to lose my job over this matter and I made it VERY clear from the beginning that this was a matter of urgency as my job and sole source of income rely completely on a FULLY functioning laptop. I was assured that this matter would not drag on into another week but here we are, with me being told that it will not be repaired this week. Again.

I am furious at being treated like my job is not important and I strongly doubt that Lenovo or Game are going to pay my salary for the next few years if I lose my job.

This is NOT customer service and I am now forced to take this matter further and go public with the dreadful service by both of these companies. This is NOT how you treat someone who laid out thousands of rands for a laptop which is now falling apart and developing serious issues when it is only three months old. I first reported this almost a month ago and yet nothing has been done to resolve the issue to date.

I clearly stated in my post what Incredible Solutions claim the delay to be.

I don't want apologies. I want ACTION and a FULLY FUNCTIONING laptop.

If this matter is not completely resolved within 24hrs, I will be laying charges against both Game and Lenovo and I will sue.

I do not have time for more pathetic excuses and passing the buck and "your query has been escalated" and "senior management will advise". Those are all hollow phrases and mean nothing to me anymore.

I am completely serious that I will sue over this matter if it is not resolved completely within 24hrs.
