How did I win at game ? MOTTO IS FALSE ADVERTISING!!!

I bought a freezer at Spring's Mall on Black Friday, and stood in the que and waited patiently with no complaints.

Went to the staff who was friendly even thou he had seen lot of impatient customers and dealing with a slow system. Took my order and went . I only realised that the delivery fee was R240 , so the same time I went to the customer service centre and told them I want to cancel the delivery cause I stay less then 4kms away .

She was very helpful and said yes we can do it . So I waited and it was not uploaded on the system . So she couldn't do the refund, on the delivery .

So I asked her if I can do it other time she said yes , I said I can come back the next day which was Saturday 30 November.

So I went back to Game especially to sort it out , when I got there she told me it's been dispatched from the warehouse so can not cancel the delivery cause the shop also had no stock so now which leaves me with no option but to pay the delivery , but why not offer the warehouse to deliver it the store which I ordered it from and let the customer pick it up from there .

How did I save that R500 special when Delivery is R240 ?

I am so disappointed that I could have not been helped , and I was told that I could refund the delivery. This is clearly not not great customer service and false information.
