Headset not replaced

I bought a gaming headset for my son last year November. The microphone stopped working. The headset has a year guarantee, now the manager says she has to phone *****th that is only open Monday to Thursday to get a reference number to refund. This is not right- I bought the headset from Game, they have to refund!
