hairclippers a problem

Bought hairclippers and there's a problem with it - feels like it's overheating when i use it.

Don't have the slip for it anymore but managed to find when I bought it on my bank account.

Is it possible to get refunded because it's not my fault that the item is a problem ? Also unsure how long your usual exchange policy is , but this isn't my problem either as the item purchased should last ...
