Guarantee.....but doesnt fall part of the guarantee

On the 01/03/2019 i bought a Telefunken 55 TV from Game N1 City. All checked out fine when i got home. TV has great picture, remote control working fine. Just after a week the remote stopped working. Replaced the batteries and the remote still didnt work. I eventually had time to take the remote back to the Game N1 City to see if they could fix or replace it as the TV and remote is only days old. The salesman with a ****y attitude insinuated that i broke the remote and that the remote doesnt fall part of the guarantee. The TV and remote are sold together as a unit. You cannot use the TV without the remote, and Vice Versa. The salesman ended up giving me one of their display TV remotes which was in a terrible condition to say the least. Needless to say, that remote doesnt work now either. This is disgusting service from Game and i demand a new remote. I feel offended by how Game says i have damaged my own remote. Im waiting for game to contact me in this regard
