Guarantee misunderstood at game store

I have bought a genesis vacuum cleaner and a verimark product from game in canal walk on the 21. 12.19.the vacuum just stopped working and I took it in the morning to the store.on the box says 2 years guarantee and we took the 2 year extended warranty out on it.the reason we bought a vacuum is because I've got fibromyalgia and I can't sweep and took the extended warranty out because so if anything happens then we have it in place and won't have the problem of waiting for the vacuum to be fixed.ok so we took it in and they told us that it has to be sent in and checked so I said but it's still under guarantee my guarantee isn't over yet. The guy that was helping us was so unprofessional and rude.when we bought the product nobody explained to us that it has to be sent away and so on and on top of it they said that it they find out what the problem is and give us a new vacuum. So I said but I don't want the vacuum I want my money back because I need the vacuum as in today because of my health issues, he says no we can't have our money back we must take the product.Just to think Game is a well known store and to get such ****ty service.i am really not happy with the service.
