GAMES DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
On March 2024,I purchased a laptop from Game, The Glen, for educational purposes. Unfortunately, the device has malfunctioned three times, requiring two repair attempts. Despite these efforts, the laptop remains inoperable.
Due to examination commitments, I was unable to submit the laptop for repair during the third malfunction. Previous repair attempts took approximately 30 days. I requested a refund or exchange, which was denied.
On January 17, 2025, I resubmitted the laptop for repair. However, on February 18, 2025, "Over the 21 days wait period i might add",I was informed that the issue is software-related and not covered under warranty. Contrary to this assessment, Simple Computer Classes has indicated that the non-functional speaker is a hardware problem.
With my warranty nearing expiration, I am seeking a satisfactory resolution. I possess extensive documentation, including:
- Recordings of correspondence - Photographs of the defective laptop - Reference numbers for my complaints - A receipt as proof of purchase
I believe this evidence substantiates my claim. I request a prompt and fair resolution to this matter, considering the laptop's defective state and the inconvenience caused.
If this matter is not resolved to my satisfaction, I intend to pursue further action online, including filing complaints with relevant consumer protection agencies and posting reviews on social media platforms to alert others to the issues I have experienced.
