Games Customer Service

Very disappointed in Games Customer Service, absolutely no communication is sent to customers re the status of online orders. I made a purchase on the 12th Dec 2022 and had not heard a word from Game by the 20th Dec 2022, when phoning a customer service number i found on their website, it took me 20 minutes to finally get it sorted out, in which i was told i can come collect the item. Even though a massive inconvenience as the store that the order was dispatched from is an hour away from my home, I preferred this option as due to the bad service and public holidays coming up, i will most likely only receive my order (xmas pressie) mid Jan. I will DEFINITELY NEVER be shopping here again, very bad system, not a great shopping experience, they should no advertise free shipping in 5-7 days if they cannot provide this service, wish I had looked at reviews on HelloPeter before placing my order.
