Game/Brabantia

I bought a Brabantia stand mixer from Game at Midlands Mall only to find that it would not even beat egg whites, never mind cake ingredients. It took a while to return it because of the lockdown, but when I did, they would not take the bowl and beaters, only the actual machine. After about a month I received a message to say that it had been returned to the store and to collect it. As I live in th country, it was a special journey to the store, only to be told that they needed to refund my money as the machine was written off. However, they would not refund as they needed all the eaters, etc. Why did they not say this in the message, as I then had another long drive back to Maritzburg costing me time and petrol. NOT ACCEPTABLE!
