A Samsung 303L Fridge was purchased on promo for R6690 at a Game store (02/02/2015). On the 05/02/2015 we saw that the Sandton Checkers Hyper House & Home is running a promo for R5749. On the 05/02/2015 we went to the Rosebank Game store and requested a refund on the difference. Mr Senzi (Manager) was shown photographic proof of the price difference. After waiting for over an hour, we were initially told that they could not get hold of anyone at Checkers Hyper, subsequently that Checkers Hyper has no such product on their system. Another gentleman approached us and confirmed the product was the same. We asked Mr Senzi to contact the Checkers Hyper Store once more. He then said it would take time as they need to confirm if any stock is avail. One and a half hours had past and we achieved nothing. On our way home I contacted Sandton Checkers Hyper House & Home. The call was answered in less than a minute and the product & price was confirmed as well as the availability of the stock. Game requested us to come back the following day with proof showing that the price is lower and stock is available. Is this fair?
