Game TV questionable service
I bought a Samsung 40 inch Full HD TV at Game Promenade Mall in Mitchell's Plain 26 April 2019. It worked well up until July 2021 the screen went blank but had a sound. I sent an email to Game Websupport customer service, I was assisted efficiently and consistently and I was informed that a technician was to visit to check the TV. The technician determined that that TV couldn't be fixed. The game Websupport decided to offer a voucher to the value of the TV and told me the was no need to return the TV set back to the store. I went to the store to claim the voucher, I was told to bring a TV set with, in order to receive the voucher; I contested until I gave in and I brought the TV. I received the voucher. They took all the paper work and purchase documents of the device with the TV. Fast forward to this year, I received an sms on 02 March 2022 it read: "Game would like to inform you (my name) that your repair item is back in store awaiting your collection". The TV was sent to repairs in MY NAME. I then went back to the store to enquire about the message they told me it was an error without checking on their system. My aim of writing this review is to warn Game customers and clients that I am concerned that the Samsung TV will be sold to another customer as if it were a 'brand new' TV. I am also concerned this is what happened to me (unaware) because that TV did not last, not even 2 years.
