Game Stores Online Game is *****ulent

Sometime in January this year i ordered a tablet online for my daughter's birthday. The following day I got a call from a lady in Fourways Game saying this item was out of stock and she wanted to know if I would be willing to wait for stock to be available. I immediately told her to cancel since it will be late as this was a birthday gift.

weeks later i got a call from a courier driver saying he was at my house with a delivery from Game and immediately i told him to return it back as i had not ordered anything from Game.

When my statement came at the end of the month the tablet purchase was there and it has not been reversed since then. i have tried without success to go to Game Cresta which is near me and the issue went as far as a certain Vhanidha whom i was told is in charge of Cresta branch and she refused to assist saying the transaction is a Fourways one and they should assist.

I went to Fourways and the manager referred me to a Buhle lady who was rude as she told me that without the Cresta email she will not assist despite her having said that she was waiting for a signed delivery note from Fastway couriers who i believe delivered the tablet so that she can compare my signature and the one on the delivery note.

The service from Game has been so poor and unexpected from such a big institution. It has left me not wanting to have anything to do with online purchases with Game.

Now i am being sent from pillar to post when all i was doing was a simple transaction which is now proving that there is no Central control and once you have purchased from Game no one cares whether you got your purchase or not as long as Game took their money.
