Game stores lack of integrity

<p>I went to Game Boksburg last night, the 9th February 2017, to purchase a Samsung Galaxy J5 cellphone which was advertised on prepaid at R1999. On ringing it up at the till the price was R2899. I was told that a mistake was made in the pamphlets and they refused to give me the phone at R1999. Nowhere was it advertised that the price was incorrect other than an A4 piece of paper at the cellphone counter. The pamphlets at the front of the store also had the phone in at R1999. This error should have been advertised more widely. When a mistake is made by a retailer in a weekly pamphlet which is distributed throughout Johannesburg in various newspaper the retailer should live with their mistake and adhere to the advertised price. In my opnion Game has handled this in a very underhanded and ********* manner and unless this matter is handled correctly I will never shop at Game again. The opposition, Hirsch's, may just have won a battle that they did not fight.</p>
