GAME STORES - JABULANI MALL ( Dishonest, ****mers and horrible customer service)

On the 3rd of March 2024 I bought a Bennett Read Aerovac vacuum from Game Jabulani Mall. I had asked the consultant in that department to suggest a good selling brand that wouldn't give me any issues and she suggested this one. Hardly 3 weeks later the vacuum stopped working. I took it back to the store to get a refund stating that if it stopped working hardly 6 months then it would be an issue even if it was taken in for repairs.

I was told I cannot be refunded because those were the rules for this specific brand. Funny how all these rules weren't explained to me upon purchasing the vacuum and neither was it stated on the t's and C's on the back of the slip.

I was told to write at the back of my print out slip that I wanted a refund and not for the vacuum to be repaired, I did exactly that.

The vacuum was booked for repairs as per their process. A few weeks later I received an SMS stating that I should come and collect the repaired vacuum, my husband called them to state that we were dissatisfied with the vacuum and service received and we no longer wanted that vacuum but to rather be refunded and he was told that's not possible.

So that means GAME is ****ming it's customers because when you buy from them they don't explain to you that if that gadget malfunctions they take a step back and tell you to deal with the brand directly yet you walked into a GAME store to purchase that item.

Please help me get my refund because I don't want this vacuum anymore. It gave me issues 3 weeks after purchase, what's to happen when the guarantee is finished and how many more times will it need to be booked in for repairs again???

I'm furious, I've never experienced such with Pick n pay or Clicks when buying from them

#stay away from GAME and it's vacuums if you know what's good for you. Their service is horrible and they don't put their customers first at all, it's all about sales to them. I'm never walking into another GAME store to buy anything ever again.
