Game stores incompetence

I purchased a fridge online on Nov 29th and was told it would take 7 - 10 days for delivery. On the 3rd of December I was sent a mail saying my fridge was dispatched and I would receive a tracking number shortly. On the 7th of December I received a phone call from a courier saying they were on the way to my house to deliver, I told them there was no one available to take delivery that day and they needed to deliver on Thurs 12th. I requested my tracking number from Game on the 7th as I had not received it as yet and needed to now contact the courier directly. I finally received a reply on Dec 11 with a tracking number and a link to Dawn Wing. I contacted Dawn Wing who said the parcel hadn’t been sent to them from Game themselves so I phoned Game to find out why not. To cut a long story short, 3 different people told me it was with three different delivery companies and that they couldn’t track it, I must wait till after the 7 days for delivery. I then escalated the issue to Rudi (a supervisor) who after much evasion and platitudes told me the fridge had actually been delivered and signed for by someone I had never even heard of. After threatening ******** charges it suddenly turned out my fridge hadn’t been delivered and was actually with TimeFreight. In the meanwhile my husband has bought a fridge and had it delivered so I have now cancelled my order and put through a refund request. Rudi promised that someone would call me by 5pm on Friday to confirm banking and put an urgent request on my refund as we now had to pay for another fridge. I did not receive the phone however TimeFreight keeps calling to deliver even though it was cancelled. I have just phoned the call centre again but yet again, absolutely no help and I have to wait for Mon to try fix this mess. I have spent close to R300 in phone calls due to the lack of communication from Games side as well as the inconvenience and stress this whole situation has caused. This is also not the first time I have had such an issue with Game and will never purchase from them again and would highly recommend no one else puts themselves through this ridiculous stress.
