Game stores avoiding responsibility

My name is Nomasomi Hato I bought a HP laptop at Game stores King Williams Town on the 15 March 2023. The laptop broke down on the evening of the 14th August 2023. I tried to switch on the laptop without any success. The PC could not switch on after numerous attempts.

On the morning of 10 August 2023 I decided to take back the laptop to the store since it is still under warranty. The store took the laptop for assessment and promised to call back for assessment results and I was given a repair agreement which states that I will be contacted within 21 days. The store never called me for over 30 days.

On the second week of September which is over 21 days from the day I went to lay a claim for a warranty, I was told that the assessor found that the laptop was water damaged which I strongly dispute.

The last time I used this PC was on the night of 14th August and I switched it off normally and when I tried to switch it on it couldn't. There was never a moment the PC was exposed to water.

I find these assessment results as a way of not want to take the blame that the PC is factory fault and don't want to repair or replace it.

Ultimately, my complaint is that I only used this PC for 4,5 months from new and it's still under warranty. I dispute the assessor's report that water was used to make the PC to break.

I want Game stores to repair or replace my laptop as I'm in desperate need of it.

Game pls take responsibility or this will go to the highest court.
