Game store Vanderbijlpark (Vaal mall)

When I went to Game Vanderbijlpark on the 22nd to exchange a broken iron, a woman named Refilwe Maseko helped me. I gave them my bank statement showing the transaction and the date the iron was bought. Refilwe told me that the system was down and that she would contact me that same day in the afternoon to check if the transaction was accurate. I called the following day, on the 23rd, to inquire further because I had been promised a call on the 22nd (TCF and hollow promises), and I was told that the system remained out. I then asked to speak with Peter Chikishi, the manager, who made it clear that there was nothing he could do because Relilwe had already provided me with all the information. He also told me that they were requesting assistance from an external vendor and that it could take weeks for them to fix the system.

When I phoned them again on Monday, I was told to bring my card number and told Refilwe that I had replaced my card because my old one had expired. She told me that she wouldn't help me until I had my card number. I then asked about the turnaround time, and he promised to call on Friday, August 2.

Last Thursday, I was able to obtain my old card number. I called the switchboard to speak with customer care, and the call continued to ring until it ended. On Saturday, I tried again, and this time, I was placed on wait until the call ended. I called back and began telling the woman named Joyce who worked at the switchboard that I was holding on to, but I was not feeling happy. Joyce told me she was working at the back and would try to contact customer service. Eventually, I spoke with Charmain, who informed me that Refiliwe was not available. She took my information and said she would call me back. Later, she called and asked to see my card information. She said she would call me back, but I'm still waiting today.

Game Vanderbijlpark lacks a sense of agency, and TCF Peter Chikishi is talking to people like he's talking to his kids, forgetting that he's talking game reputation down. Peter Chikishi, the store manager, did not follow through on his promise to call back. Customers are being put on hold and transferred to customer service without proper verification that someone is available to assist them. Game Vanderbijlpark does not prioritize first-time resolution, requiring clients to call back for similar issues.
