Game store Tzaneen - Faulty Samsung A01

I bought 2 Samsung A01 on the 10th of December as a Christmas gift at Tzaneen Game for my 9 year old son and daughter. I didn’t open the boxes as I wanted them to have this experience as it is their 1st new phones. My doughters phone worked fine, but my sons phone did not want to start up properly. Took it back to Game to replace it today as they were closed yesterday (as the box states a 1 YEAR GUARANTEE). To my surprize, the fault should have been reported 7 days after it has been purchased... now, we have to wait until the 4th of January before they can send it to Vodacom, which will probably take a month or 2 before we get it back. So my son will only receive his long awaited Christmas present in February. I think this is unacceptable!
